Rectangular Shaped Insect Bug Screen FOR WINDOWS using 5/16" x 1" Framing : These are bug screens that you will use for windows, to install into the opening portion of the window designed to keep flying insects out. There are three different types of Hardware Options for this type of insect bug screen. Watch the below videos to learn about these different types of hardware options so you can determine which is best for your type of windows. This screen is made out of the 5/16" x 1" wide framing, this size of framing is much stronger than the typical 5/16" x 3/4" frame used everywhere else. 

We are huge proponents of using this size of framing for your insect bug screen assemblies.  This 5/16" x 1" framing is what we use for our solar window screen assemblies because it is so much stronger and durable.

Some windows allow for a bug screen to fit over the entire window, and if you are needing a bug screen to fit over the entire window, please use our Rectangular Shaped Assembled Bug Screen Full Size for Windows 5/16" x 1" Frame.

Fabric Type: For all of our insect bug screen assemblies, we use a very strong and durable Pool and Patio Fabric. We no longer make our insect bug screens out of the typical fiberglass fiber wire fabric. The difference in appearance is minimal, but the difference in strength is considerable. The Pool and Patio insect screen fabric is considerably stronger and more durable. It's, much harder to tear this fabric.
